Preview of Grant Morrison's final chapter of BATMAN AND ROBIN MUST DIE

I am the first to admit Grant Morrison's whole run on Batman has really confused me. I've re-read Batman: RIP , Final Crisis and Batman and Robin in an effort to get a handle on WTF is going on with Bruce. The release last week of Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #5 did nothing to help me understand this long arc.

Now as we get closer to the end of the Black Glove, Dr. Hurt, Thomas Wayne, Joker, etc. storyline, I am hopeful the release of Batman and Robin #15 (and titles coming in the near future) will help shed some light on the mysteries surrounding the the events of the last two years.

Here is a preview from DC's The Source of Batman and Robin #15.  The preview story and art look awesome!
The Dynamic Duo and Dr. Hurt collide for a final confrontation that serves as the culmination to the latest chapter of mastermind Grant Morrison’s epic and multi-layered Batman saga. Will Dick Grayson succeed where Bruce Wayne failed? Will Damian return to the dark side and betray his friends? How does the Joker fit in? Morrison and artist Frazer Irving tell the tale in Batman and Robin #15, and it’s a doozy, folks. hits tomorrow.  Batman and Robin #15 hit tomorrow.

Gfest's Top WTF Pictures of the Week

Pure Rapist Seems More Appropriate

This is taking the whole manga - tenticle rape thing to a new level.

I thought the rumors were that James Franco didn't like to eat pussy?

So Kermit is into Fisting.

As if Gingers weren't scary enough already.

Can't tell what's gayer:
This gender confused stormtrooper or the guy behind him who went in a Firestorm costume.

I'll be screaming it to the 911 operator to come save me.

I'm sure the three guys in this picture appreciate the new marketing plan.

Can we PLEASE not let Dick Grayson be Batman anymore?  It's embarrassing.

Batman Falls on Hard Times

Poor Batman, regulated to a freakin Best Western.  The days of the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, W, etc. are long gone.  Dick Grayson and Damien Wayne probably pissed away the fortune while Bruce has been gone trapped in in time.  Poor Tim doesn't know about it since he has been out actually doing something productive with his time, like looking for Bruce.

Although, on the other-hand, it's probably a good hideout because even the Joker wouldn't stay at this dump.

NY POST Breaks News that DC Comics Will Have Two Batmans (Bat-Men) and Bruce Gets a New Suit

THE NEW YORK POST broke a HUGE comic related story this morning, not only will Bruce Wayne be returning to a new set of Batman duds, but his first sidekick, Dick Grayson, will continue to fight crime on the streets of Gotham as Batman, and under the banner of “Batman Inc.”

But what does that mean for the Batman titles moving forward?

Thankfully for Batman fans, DC's The Source gave us the breakdown.

Starting in November, DETECTIVE COMICS, BATMAN and BATMAN AND ROBIN will feature the ongoing adventures of Dick Grayson as Batman, with Damian as Robin. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne will take center stage in the pages of Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette’s BATMAN INC. and writer/artist David Finch’s BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT.

Batman Group Editor Mike Marts unveiled the Cover from BATMAN INC and told the The Source:
“Just as readers were getting comfortable with the idea of former sidekick Dick Grayson playing the role of Batman, along comes Bruce Wayne’s triumphant return to the Cape and Cowl. Is Gotham City ready for two Batmen? Is the world? And who’s to say the fun will end there?”
I am so pissed about this announcement that I can't even think straight.

Bruce Wayne is Batman.

Bruce Wayne is Batman.

Bruce Wayne is Batman.

Maybe if I say it enough it will come true and everything will be restored to normal in the Batman and DC Comic world and DC won't treat Batman and like Wolverine.

I will return at some point to rant and rave about the absurdity of this decision, but for now enjoy Dick Grayson fans.

PREVIEW: BATMAN & ROBIN #14 (and why it's a good series)

I have changed my tune on Grant Morrison's BATMAN AND ROBIN.  Admittedly, I was filled with sour grapes when Morrison and Didiot "killed-off" Bruce Wayne and started the run with Dick as Batman and Damien as Robin.  I was upset and did not give this book a chance.  Now, that I have come around and am current on this title, I have been impressed with the book, especially the Tim, Damien, Dick, and Alfred relationship.  Now, I do admit that current plot line of hunting down Bruce, history of the Wayne family, Batman RIP tie-in, Joker, etc. was a very big reason for my turn around but nonetheless I give the Scottish Alan Moore his due.

Well this month BATMAN & ROBIN #14 hits the shelves and DC has given us a preview.
Grant Morrison and artist Frazer Irving continue their epic BATMAN AND ROBIN tale, as one of our heroes lies near death. Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne enter the ultimate, blood-soaked battle against two foes who almost destroyed the original Batman. But are they up for the challenge? And if they can’t make it as a team, have they sealed their fates?
